Welcome to McElwain Elementary! I am incredibly honored to serve as the principal of this amazing school and to continue the journey that began when our doors first opened in 2020. Having served as McElwain's assistant principal since the very beginning, this campus is much more than my workplace—it is home.
Throughout my 21 years in education, I have learned that the heart of every great school is its people. At McElwain, I am surrounded by passionate educators, supportive families, and remarkable students who inspire me every day. It is a privilege to lead a campus where relationships matter, every child is known and valued, and we work together to help each student discover their unique strengths and potential.
My vision for McElwain Elementary is to cultivate a community where every student feels a sense of belonging, every staff member feels supported and empowered, and every family feels welcomed as an essential partner in their child's education. Together, we strive to create meaningful learning experiences that challenge students to think critically, grow confidently, and develop the character and leadership skills they will carry with them throughout their lives.
One of McElwain's greatest strengths is our culture. We believe that when students feel safe, connected, and encouraged, they are empowered to take risks, embrace challenges, and achieve extraordinary things. Our dedicated staff works tirelessly to provide engaging, high-quality instruction while nurturing curiosity, kindness, resilience, and a love of learning.
I believe every child has incredible potential, and I am committed to ensuring that every owl in our nest has the opportunities, support, and encouragement to soar.
